Waipu North Jetty is a northwest-facing beach break in Miaoli with a sand bottom and waves that peel both left and right. It comes alive on north or northwest swell with southeast or south-southeast offshore winds at mid tide. The soft sand bottom makes it a friendly spot for beginners.
